Tex-Lapkatz is a small cattery owned by Dianne Ritchie and Lorraine Armstrong. We are a mother/daughter team working to produce Devon Rex kittens that meet the standards of the breed set by CFA, and are located east of Houston, Texas.
The cattery was started in 2001 by me (Dianne) after I retired from the business world. I owned a Devon Rex and had such a hard time finding one that I decided more breeders were needed to produce these wonderful kittens for people like myself who were allergic to most cats. In 2009, Lorraine joined the breeding program.
All kittens carry a guarantee to be free of any genetic defects for the first year. Any genetic defects will have shown up by then.
We do not sell to families with preschool age children.
